Za oznacavanje roda akorda dovoljno je upotrebiti osnovni ton i tercu, pa je za C moll dovoljno odsvirati tonove C i Es (Eb). Ako pritisnes C i Bb, dobices C7. Kad transponujes, logicno je sta se dobija.
